Model news that caught my eye: brands wanting humanistic models

Hey Girls, Check this out The New York Times shares some insight on how many online brands want a pretty model with real, humanistic and approachable look:

ahhem they are still tall models though, I think shorter models who have marketable photos and professionalism can pursue growing accessorry brands for print and online catalog work, jewelry, handbags, shoes, etc:

These days you will find many product ads and many brands, for print, commercial, catalog, campaigns, using a model that has a more humanistic look. I see it all the time, also many brands are also using bloggers, radio hosts, personalities, as models for their brands, not just fashion models.
