Hey Girls, If you are based in NYC and are an aspiring model, working model or need a comp card check out Fairway Printing and their site http://www.modelingcards.com/.
115 W 30th Street, Suite 408, New York City, 10001
I stopped in today and made a new parts card.
I will be speaking with Anthony the owner of Fairway printing, on my podcast radio show in the coming weeks, about how models can prepare for a comp card and the things they should know,--- like especially to have their photos at 300 dpi when they come in with their photos on a USB devise or CD. Remember, a small res 72 dpi photo that is web site size will not translate into print size well. You should know this as a model. You need high res photos for printing a comp card//headshot. So make sure your photos are 300 dpi when you go to get a comp card made, no excuses, a model should be prepared and prepare for success by knowing these things :)
Here are the prices at Fairway Printing and also if you have questions on comp card printing Anthony should be at my book signing on October 14th in the Meatpacking District at Gaslight Lounge. Stop by if you are in the NYC area 6:30-9pm , 21+, but don't worry future events will include all ages, here is info on the party. More tips on making a comp card are below.
