Runway models are breast cancer survivors in Sacramento

Models are all shapes and sizes and also come as breast cancer survivors. The Sacramento Breast cancer Resource Center held a fashion show in July called “Blues & Bustiers” which involved beautiful breast cancer survivors as models, who wore colorful bustiers and were escorted down the runway by Sacramento Firefighters, and there was also a silent and live auction as well.

The Sacramento Breast Cancer Resource Center was founded by Gina Andrews in 2007 and Gina is a breast cancer survivor who found strength in reaching out to other woman who were also battling cancer and the woman she met inspired her to see the need in a resource center for woman, and so she started her own center that provides hope, comfort and support, as well as free classes on nutrition and wellness programs and financial assistance. The Sacramento Breast Cancer Resource Center also has created their own a 2009 calendar that you can receive from giving a $25 donation and the calendar features breast cancer survivors wearing bustiers and decorative hats.
